Morning/afternoon/ evenimg gooners. Hope you are doing good as you waiting for the UCL final later today.
Back to the main story now. I understand Arsenal has improved in the last few season and we are on the brink of another succesful spell. But with our usual 4-5-1 formation, our lone striker has it tough dealing with defenders who are physical. And if creative players in the middle park to not perform then the striker has it tough.
Just to highlight on a few occasions when we have switched to 4-4-2 with Giroud and Sanogo upfront, it has worked to our advantage. The pressure was eased off Giroud in the FA cup final and he became free to move around the box as some attention shifted to Yaya who seemed liked he’d score anytime, though it never happened.
